Cymer CFO Resigns, Interim Appointed
Cymer Inc. a San Diego-based maker of laser light sources for patterning semiconductor chips, announced that its board of directors has appointed Paul B. Bowman as interim chief financial officer (CFO), replacing Nancy J. Baker, who resigned effective Dec. 19 to pursue other opportunities. Bowman has served as Cymer’s vice president of investor relations since May 2008 and has 28 years of experience in various financial management positions at Applied Materials, Unisys, and IBM. Prior to joining Cymer, he served for two years as the CFO of American Mold Guard.
