Chris Hoggarth Joins Light Blue Optics

Light Blue Optics (LBO), developer of miniature projection systems located in Cambridge, UK, has named Chris Hoggarth as vice president of sales and marketing. Effective immediately, Hoggarth will be responsible for the company’s overall sales and marketing strategy, evaluating product requirements and building relationships with key customers and strategic partners in a range of markets including automotive, information display and consumer electronics. Hoggarth brings 25 years of experience in the displays industry and is versed in consumer electronics, IT, automotive and distribution. As former head of Samsung's European LCD Business Unit, he built a high-performance, multidisciplined sales and marketing team and increased annual revenue more than threefold, creating a dynamic multibillion-dollar business. Before joining Samsung, he managed the Display Devices and Components Div. of Toshiba Electronics Europe.
