Laurin names new senior editor

Charles Troy has rejoined Laurin Publishing as Senior Editor for the company’s print magazines. A veteran of both technology and consumer news reporting and writing, Troy first joined Laurin Publishing in 1983 and was Managing Editor until his retirement in 1999.

Prior to joining Laurin he was an Assistant Editor – handling international, national and state news – and features writer at the Berkshire Eagle, an award-winning daily newspaper in Pittsfield, Mass., for 17 years. After retiring and before returning to his present position, Troy served in an advisory role for the Photonics Directory and Electronic Media Division of the company.
