Ultra Clean to Make Products for FEI

Ultra Clean Technology of Hayward, Calif., a developer and supplier of semiconductor subsystems, and FEI Co. of Hillsboro, Ore., which specializes in high-resolution-imaging technology, have signed a global supplier agreement under which the California company will provide hosted manufacturing services in the Oregon-based facility. It also is anticipated that Ultra Clean’s operations in Asia will produce some FEI subassemblies. The companieshave targeted the first quarter of 2009 for the transfer of current product lines to Ultra Clean Technology operations.
