Mobius Photonics Awarded US Patent

Mobius Photonics Inc. of Santa Clara, Calif., a fiber-based laser source manufacturer for the visible and the ultraviolet, has received a US patent for its “Laser Apparatus Having Multiple Synchronous Amplifiers Tied to One Master Oscillator” design. The device offers a way to scale up average power for integration into high-throughput machine tools without sacrificing reliability. It is suitable for solar cell processing and for printed circuit board display manufacturing.
