BioProbes 57, the November 2008 issue of a newsletter published by !%Invitrogen Corp.%!, includes a feature article titled “The Picture of Cell Health,” which describes three assays that each provide a different view of cell health. The downloadable publication also includes articles on the new WesternDot kits for sensitive protein detection, the Luminex assays and Luminex 200 system for flexible protein quantitation, and signal preservation for live- and fixed-cell analysis, including discussion of the Alexa Fluor dyes, Qdot nanocrystals and ProLong gold antifade reagents.
