OCLI Names Cumbo VP and Chief Technical Officer
SANTA ROSA, Calif., April 12 -- Optical Coating Laboratory, Inc.'s board of directors has elected Michael J. Cumbo vice president and chief technical officer. He will replace James W. Seeser, who will remain a vice president of OCLI and assume a project-oriented role, primarily in business development.
Cumbo joined OCLI as a senior research engineer in 1995 and managed OCLI's corporate research department from April 1996 to February 1997. He then transferred to the telecommunications division, where he has worked as director of WDM development and manufacturing. Prior to joining OCLI, Cumbo was with Bausch & Lomb and Eastman Kodak.
