SVTC Names Kin to Board

SVTC Technologies of San Jose, Calif., a provider of technology development and commercialization services, has named semiconductor marketing strategist Kenneth Kin to its board of directors. From 2001 to 2008, Kin served as senior vice president of worldwide sales, services and marketing for the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC). Now retired from TSMC, he is a professor and associate dean at National Tsing Hua University’s College of Technology Management in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Kin also serves on the board of SMSC, a fabless semiconductor company focused on analog/mixed signal solutions.
