IPG Expands Coast to Coast
IPG Photonics, maker of fiber lasers and fiber amplifiers, has increased its applications lab capabilities by adding two new centers, one in Novi, Mich., and one in Santa Clara, Calif. It also is expanding its existing facility in Oxford, Mass., to more than 7500 sq ft. The Novi lab has 17,000 sq ft of space to service the Midwest automotive and heavy industries, while the Santa Clara site has 8000 sq ft for microprocessing capabilities targeting the photovoltaic and medical industries. According to the company, potential customers are welcome to visit the applications labs and work with the equipment firsthand for a sample evaluation. For more information, visit:
