Ireland Joins CVI Melles Griot

Photonics products maker CVI Melles Griot of Albuquerque, N.M., announced the hiring of Robert Ireland as vice president of sales and marketing for optics and photonics products. Ireland is an industry veteran, having held positions at II-VI, Corning, Burleigh Instruments and Eastman Kodak Co. His responsibilities include sales in the Americas, worldwide product management, and worldwide marketing communications for optics and photonics products. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in optics from the University of Rochester and a BS in physics from the College of the Holy Cross.
