Applied Precision Sells Unit to Rudolph Technologies

Applied Precision LLC of Issaquah, Wash., has announced the sale of its semiconductor division to Rudolph Technologies Inc. of Flanders, N.J., a designer and manufacturer of process control metrology and of data analysis systems for use by semiconductor device manufacturers. The former will continue to operate its life sciences unit, which produces the DeltaVision microscopy-based imaging systems product line.
