Bruker BioSciences, Bruker BioSpin Ink Pact

Bruker BioSciences Corp. has entered into an agreement with Bruker BioSpin Corp., both of Billerica, Mass. The former will pay $388 million in cash and $57.5 million in shares to acquire the latter. The total purchase price will be approximately $914 million. Bruker BioSpin, a manufacturer and distributor of magnetic resonance core technology for life sciences and analytical research systems, will join the existing Bruker BioSciences operating companies Bruker AXS, Bruker Daltonics and Bruker Optics.
