Thermo Fisher, Phytronix Set Distribution Pact
A strategic partnership has been formed between Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. of San Jose, Calif., and Phytronix Technologies of Quebec, Canada. The agreement will allow the laser diode thermal desorption (LDTD) technology developed by the latter to be distributed with the mass spectrometers manufactured by the former. The companies state that the LDTD system increases the speed with which compounds can be analyzed.
