GlacialTech's Environmentally Friendly LED Spotlights

Discussions based around the usage of LEDs are surely gathering some momentum in India, especially with certain companies looking at lighting projects in the country. In fact, I was recently interacting with one such company in India's silicon valley. I do hope to introduce this company some time later... so keep reading folks!

Those prepared to invest in LED technology, do consider points such as low power, long term savings, and definitely, the lowering of carbon footprint. We have even heard talks about how a low carbon growth path is now universal. There needs to be a political will.to make that happen in India!
A little further away, in another part of Asia, Taiwan, the exploits of GlacialLight, which is said to leverage world-class engineering, efficient manufacturing and highest-quality materials to provide high brightness, low power LED lighting solutions for indoor, outdoor and other customized applications under the GlacialLight brand, has warmed several hearts as well.

Now, GlacialTech is introducing star-bright environmentally friendly LED spotlights. The GL-SP30 LED high brightness spotlight consumes 38W power. It nicely fits in as a replacement for traditional halogen lamps -- these consume power normally over 300W per lamp.

GlacialTech claims that its LED lamps have a total lifespan of 35,000 hours, which really compares very favorably against halogen lamps, which generally run for 3000-odd hours.

The GL-SP30 LED lights are perfectly designed for stylish architectural façades or for landscape lighting, as well as spot lighting points of attraction or for public lighting as needed. The LED light unit comes with a mounting bracket and can be secured with bolts at any place, as desired.

According to the company, it is developing a comprehensive range of products under the GlacialLight brand, stretching from street lighting solutions to all forms of industrial and architectural lighting. The products on offer and in development include serious product enhancements over the current range of competing products available on the market, such as MR16 / BR20 / BR30 / BR40 / T8 Tubes and GL-SP15 Spotlights (CCD and infrared sensor versions), GL-SP30 as well as streetlights, etc.
