Mercury Computer Systems Inc. of Chelmsford, Mass., a provider of computing systems and software for data-intensive applications, has announced the formation of Visage Imaging, its wholly owned subsidiary for the life sciences and medical businesses. Located in Carlsbad, Calif., and in Fuerth, Germany, the new company will operate independently to deliver Mercury’s imaging and visualization products and services in OEM and clinical settings. Visage’s customizable solutions for medical imaging work flow include tools for 2-, 3- and 4-D image interpretation.
