Ayotte Named Textron VP

Textron Inc., a multi-industry company located in Providence, RI, has announced the promotion of Robert J. Ayotte to the position of vice president, Audit Services, reporting to Richard L. Yates, acting chief financial officer. Ayotte replaces Michael A. Gardner, who is retiring from Textron. Ayotte’s 30-year career with Textron has spanned several business unit and corporate leadership positions, both within and outside the United States. Most recently, he served as assistant corporate controller for the corporation, a post he held since 2002.
