Agilent Technologies Inc.
Agilent Technologies Inc. of Santa Clara, Calif., has received a license to use labeling technology from Kreatech Biotechnology BV of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The American company will use the nonenzymatic direct labeling method — based on the licensor’s Universal Linkage System technology — to examine DNA in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded samples, which are often too degraded for use in microarray analysis techniques.
