Looking for UXOs
The US Army has offered a contract to Curtiss-Wright Controls Inc. of Charlotte, N.C., under which the company will supply its ground-penetrating radar technology for use in the detection of unexploded ordnances (UXOs) in overseas operations. Under terms of the agreement, the company will provide the military with its step-frequency B3231 antenna and its GeoScope processing solutions. The contract is expected to last for one year.
