Kappa Opto-Electronics Hires Sales Manager

Kappa Opto-Electronics GmbH, a Gleichen, Germany-based maker of cameras and systems, has appointed Alexander Berg as sales and marketing manager. Berg, formerly CEO of a software development company and a clinical research organization, will help the company introduce its new camera models to the marketplace, including some for machine vision and x-ray systems applications. "Breaking into new markets will play a prominent role in achieving our goals," said Jürgen Haese, Kappa Opto-Electronics CEO. "Berg's priorities will be the expansion of Kappa's customer base in existing business segments, further development of our sophisticated product portfolio, as well as operative measures to open new target markets."
