Leica Microsystems

Leica Microsystems of Wetzlar, Germany, will act as exclusive European, North American and Japanese distributor of the Cellvizio system from Mauna Kea Technologies of Paris. The fiber optic endoscopic confocal microscope, frequently used in preclinical studies involving live animals in academic, biotechnological and pharmaceutical settings, captures 12 frames per second. Leica will integrate the product into its portfolio and market it as the FCM1000.
