Fay Named NeoPhotonics CFO

NeoPhotonics announced it has appointed interim chief financial officer J.D. Fay to the post permanently, effective immediately. Fay, who joined NeoPhotonics in May 2007 as vice president of legal affairs and general counsel, had served as interim CFO since January. Prior to joining NeoPhotonics, Fay was senior vice president of corporate affairs and general counsel for @Road, a provider of mobile resource management products. Before that, he practiced corporate and securities law for the Venture Law Group. He is a graduate with honors of Harvard Law School and of North Central College in Illinois. NeoPhotonics, a maker of photonic integrated circuit (PIC) based components, modules and subsystems used in telecommunication networks, is based in San Jose, Calif.
