Three-Five Systems Names New VP, Manufacturing Chief
TEMPE, Ariz., May 4 -- Liquid crystal display maker Three-Five Systems, Inc. has named Carl E. Derrington vice president and chief manufacturing officer. Derrington started with the company in 1986 and has served in a number of management positions, including director of engineering and director of advanced manufacturing technology. Three-Five said that it created the position of chief manufacturing officer in response to the increased importance manufacturing has assumed within the company.
