Matrox to Supply Imaging Hardware to Adept

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 11 -- Adept Technology, Inc. has chosen Matrox Electronic Systems Ltd. as the vendor for imaging hardware for Adept's next generation vision product. Matrox will provide a hardware platform for Adept's vision toolbox, and specifically for ObjectFinder, Adept's advanced vision tool for flexible feeding and robot guidance applications.
According to Joe Campbell, vice president of marketing for Adept Technology, Matrox's knowledge and expertise in hardware and imaging will augment Adept's long experience in vision algorithms and control software for robot guidance.
