Nanopositioning Stages
!%PI (Physik Instrumente) LP%! has extended its line of piezo stages for superresolution microscopy to include the nano series nanopositioning stages. Featuring a low profile of 20 mm and a large aperture, they deliver highly accurate motion with subnanometre resolution in two and three axes. The instruments are suitable for scanning and single-molecule microscopy, for three-dimensional imaging, for auto-focussing, and for scanning and alignment tasks in bionanotechnology. A piezo controller is included and comes with a 24-bit USB port, and Ethernet, RS-232 and analog interfaces, and software support for all major image acquisition packages. The stages can be supplemented with the company’s M-545 manual X-Y microscope stage.
