The Thermoteknix Microcam thermal imager from !%Thermoteknix Systems Ltd.%! draws <0.6 W of power while delivering a full 384 × 288 60-Hz composite video signal. Suitable for portable, power-critical and battery-powered applications, it offers night vision capability. Its unstabilized Tec-Less technology enables images to be delivered over the entire operating range without affecting power consumption. The instrument features 25-μm pixel pitch, operates at 60 fps, and delivers a spectral response from 8 to 12 μm and sensitivity <80 mK. It operates from –20 to 60 °C and offers users the ability to perform image rotation, flips and polarity inverts.
