Available in print and in pdf, the 18-page booklet describes the Medical Laser Safety Officer program, supplying information on what will be discussed, who should attend, dates and locations, contact hours, course instructors and registration fees. It notes that the course addresses laser safety protocols according to the ANSI Z136.3 Safe Use of Lasers in Health Care Facilities standard. Among the other courses outlined are Laser Safety in the Lab, for research settings, and Laser Safety for Physicians, covering the use of lasers in a surgical environment.
