Boston Scientific Adds Director
Boston Scientific Corp. of Natick, Mass., a developer of medical devices, has announced the appointment of Nelda Connors as a director of its board. Connors is president of the Electrical and Metal Products Div. of Tyco International. Previously, she served as a vice president at Eaton Corp., holding several positions in operations and general management. Before that, she was employed in a number of executive and management capacities with Ford, Chrysler and Mogami Denki, a Toyota supplier. Her work in the automotive industry involved responsibilities in the US, Europe and Japan and included roles in plant management, engineering, quality control, customer service and strategic planning. She began her career as an engineer with Monsanto Corp. With the election of Connors, the Boston Scientific board increases to 14 members.
