Rudolph Hires Mullins as Director
Rudolph Technologies Inc., specializing in process control systems and software for the semiconductor manufacturing industry, announced the appointment of Tony Mullins as director of global process control software sales, effective immediately. Mullins joins Rudolph following two years of assisting small technology software companies in developing global markets for their products. Prior to that, he held various management positions at Brooks Automation, where he was instrumental in creating and commercializing advanced process control and fault detection products for Brooks Software. In 1998, Mullins co-founded WaferState Controls, an advanced process control consulting and development company focused on implementation of advanced control in semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Under his leadership, WaferState received patents on key techniques for enabling run-to-run control in facilities producing the high mix of products typically found in chip foundries. In 2001, PRI Automation acquired WaferState and named Mullins director of APC Business Practice.
