Beckman Coulter Inc.

Beckman Coulter Inc. of Brea, Calif., and CompuCyte Corp. of Westwood, Mass., have entered into a five-year global distribution agreement. Under terms of the agreement, the former company will distribute the latter’s laser scanning cytometers worldwide. The California company will maintain exclusive distribution rights for CompuCyte iGeneration technology outside of North America, and it will share the rights to sell the instrumentation to research institutions and pharmaceutical companies within the US, Canada and Mexico.
