PhotoMachining Inc.
PhotoMachining Inc. of Pelham, N.H., a precision laser micromachining provider, has announced UV micromachining with excimer, frequency-tripled and frequency-quadrupled lasers. The advantages of UV lasers over conventional infrared sources include the ability to process parts using “cold” ablation, to achieve the smallest feature sizes and to precisely control material removal. The lasers have recently become available and are suitable for applications where small features are desired and the cleanliness of parts is essential.
