Vytran to Showcase FAS at OFC/NFOEC
Vytran LLC will demonstrate a range of fiber processing equipment, including its fully automated FAS fusion splicing workstation, at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition/National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference 2010 (OFC/NFOEC) from March 23-25 in San Diego.
The company’s products are used in telecommunications fiber assembly and component manufacturing such as the production of erbium-doped fiber amplifiers, dispersion compensation fiber modules and fiber Bragg gratings.
Vytran plans to run demonstrations of its process tools and will feature FAS, its all-in-one fusion-splicing workstation, which can be configured with multifunction "toolbox" modules into a high-volume manufacturing system. FFS-2000 splicing workstation, PTR-200 series fiber recoaters and proof testers, LDC-200-G fiber cleaver and GPX-3000 series of glass processors.
