Thermo Vision's CEO Resigns Post

FRANKLIN, Mass., June 17 -- Thermo Vision Corp. announced that Kristine Stotz Langdon has resigned as president and chief executive officer of the company. Langdon has also resigned as a director of the company, though she will remain with Thermo Vision in a non-executive position through November 26, 1999. We thank Kristine for her significant contribution to the company and wish her well in her future endeavors, said Earl R. Lewis, chairman of Thermo Vision.
Roger Herd, who manages the materials science businesses of Thermo Optek Corp.--a fellow subsidiary of Thermo Instrument Systems Inc.--will serve as interim president of Thermo Vision pending the appointment of a permanent replacement. Thermo Vision designs, manufactures, and markets a diverse array of photonics products, including optical components, sensors and imaging systems, and optically based instruments such as lasers.
