BaySpec Inc. of Fremont, Calif., an advanced spectroscopy solutions provider, has announced the successful outcome of a collaboration on a new OCT spectral engine that features up to three times greater collection efficiency than standard Czerny-Turner spectrographs. Based on e2v’s family of SD-OCT (spectral-domain OCT) Aviiva EM4 detector array cameras and BaySpec’s high-throughput volume phase gratings DeepView spectrographs, the OEM instrument is designed for the SD-OCT market.
