Raydiance Promotes Mielke, Hires Flood
Next-generation laser company Radiance Corp. announced that it has promoted its Vice President of Engineering, Dr. Mike Mielke, to chief scientist, and has hired Tim Flood to fill Mielke’s previous position.
In his new role, Mielke will focus his efforts on developing enabling technologies for government and commercial applications. Additionally, he will map out future features, functionality and products for the company as it enters a rapid growth phase, said the company.
Flood has joined the company with more than 20 years of product development experience, including hardware and software design, product architecture, product line management and professional services.
Prior to joining Radiance, he served as vice president of engineering and operations with Red Condor and held engineering and executive management positions with Tellabs, Advanced Fibre Communications and Mahi Networks.
