Management Change at SME
Sharp Microelectronics Europe (SME) has announced that, as of the nfinancial year starting April 1, it has added new management to the company.
David Woodward, the former vice president of sales, is now company president.
Maximilian Huber will now act as the managing director within the European Sharp organization. Ten years ago, he took over the components sales division, which he expand.
SME is a divisional company of Sharp Electronics (Europe) GmbH, which is a subsidiary of Sharp Corp. of Osaka, Japan. The corporation develops core digital technologies that are utilized in next-generation electronic applications and products. Its portfolio includes TFT LCDs, high-brightness white and color LEDs, optoelectronics, CCD and CMOS camera sensors, and photovoltaic components, among others.
