Next Instruments Launches

A new venture, Next Instruments Pty Ltd., has been announced by its directors. The business will offer analyzers that have been developed by universities, government research organizations and small high-tech companies.

Next Instruments is an offshoot of NIR Technology Systems, which specializes in near-infrared (NIR) devices, whereas the new business will provide a broader range of innovative analytical and process instruments for the food, agriculture and nutrition industries.

Five brand names — CropScan, MultiScan, SeedCount, OdourScan and NutriScan — will be available for marketing, distribution and support. The brands cover a range of NIR grain analyzers, NIR food and industrial analyzers, image analysis for seeds and grains, and electronic noses for environmental monitoring and product quality control.
