Solar toys and hybrid solar aircon from China

This one interested me a lot! Solar toys? Now, that's what I call interesting!

I was recently contacted by Shanghai Skyland International Co. Ltd. – a supplier from Shanghai, China. This supplier claims to be in the high-tech enterprise of solar garden lights, engaged in scientific research, manufacturing, marketing, technical support and service of solar lights. It has an office in Shanghai and three factories in Zhejiang province, which is nearest province to Shanghai. The main products include solar panels, solar lights, solar garden lights, solar air conditioners, solar chargers and solar educational toys, etc.

Naturally, my interest was more on solar toys and, well, solar air conditioners. First, the toys!

Shanghai Skyland International is said to be a professional supplier of all kinds of solar toys, like solar mini car, solar airplane model, solar windmill model and so on. The supplier's products are CE approved and RoHS-compliant.
These solar toys can be used for teaching in the schools as they are DIY models. Besides, they double up as very nice gifts for small children. Solar toys also can be used as promotional gifts. One model is interestingly called Mini Solar Car-F1! Another product is the solar DIY windmill, which uses a monocrystalline silicon solar panel and measures 6.5 ×6 ×14.5 cm. Yet another product is a solar grasshopper. Its micro vibration motor can be driven directly in the sunlight, in order to achieve the product’s specific effect of vibration.

The other product that caught my attention is a solar hybrid air conditioner. It has a digital LED display and its multifold heat exchanger, high-quality internal thread copper pipe and hydrophilic aluminum foil make cooling capacity stronger. The antidust air filter makes the air fresher. Other features include digital e-touch and intelligent defrosting.

I wonder whether Shanghai Skyland International would be keen on selling its products in India, and other parts of South Asia. Definitely, a lot of other solar-operated toys can be developed, if those haven't been developed already, which are sure to find a good market in this part of the world.

As for the solar air conditioner, I'd like to see it for myself and understand better how it works. Nevertheless, Asia and China never ceases to amaze! This is just one of the many examples.
