GE Lighting Names CEO, Marketing Officer
GE Lighting has announced the appointment of Jaime A. Irick as president and CEO of GE Lighting Solutions. Brian Sroub has joined GE Lighting in the newly created role of chief marketing officer.
Both will report to Michael Petras, president and CEO of GE Lighting.
In the new role, Irick will drive the development, growth and management of the company’s global LED business for both the household and professional market segments. Prior to the appointment, he served as GE Power Sensing’s general manager. Additionally, he has worked with GE’s Homeland Protection division as well as its corporate initiatives group.
Sroub joins the company after serving as vice president of marketing and product management at the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute. He has also held positions at Procter & Gamble, Sony Electronics Inc. and Hearst Corp.
GE Lighting Solutions was formed to combine GE Lighting’s LED systems operation, Lumination of Cleveland, with GE Lighting Systems of Hendersonville, N.C., a commercial and industrial fixture business.
