Rofin-Sinar Names President of US Operations

PLYMOUTH, Mich., July 7 -- Rofin-Sinar Technologies, Inc. has appointed Curtis R. Nichols president of Rofin-Sinar, Inc. This position had been held by Dr. Peter Wirth during the transition period of the past two years; Dr. Wirth remains Chairman and CEO of Rofin-Sinar Technologies, Inc.
Nichols began his career in 1967 at Cincinnati Milacron, where he remained until 1987. He then joined Toyoda Grinding Machine division and most recently served as president and CEO of Thielenhaus Microfinish Corporation.
