$20.9M Order
In Portland, Ore., Flir Systems Inc. has announced
that it has received a $35.2 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite
quantity contract with an initial $20.9 million order from the US Special Operations
Command for its Talon system. The multisensor system will support the long-range
mobility visual augmentation systems program, providing ground vehicles with stabilized
high-resolution thermal imaging capabilities in any weather and lighting conditions.
Work will be performed at !%Flir’s%! Billerica, Mass., facility and is expected
to be completed within 12 months.
