Cooperative Agreement

Optical design software maker !%Optical Research Associates%! of Pasadena, Calif., and Rochester, N.Y.-based !%12349%%QED Technologies%!, a finishing and metrology products provider to the precision optics industry, have announced a cooperative agreement that will integrate QED’s aspheric characterization formulations into Optical Research’s CODE V software to facilitate easier design, analysis and tolerancing of aspheric surfaces. By combining their strengths in optical software and optics manufacturing, the companies will provide optical design and fabrication communities with a robust, effective tool for manufacturing aspheres, from concept to completion.
