Looking for Intelligent LED Displays ... Look No Further

I have some more stuff from Solarcon 2010 India to share. But first, I'd like to talk about something else, and leave solar for another time.

Writing on photonics.com has also brought me in touch with a whole lot of optoelectronics and laser suppliers in Mainland China. One such supplier is Shenzhen Elite Photoelectron Co. Ltd. based in the Hui'ye Technic Park, Tangtou Road, Shi'yan Town, Baoan District, Shenzhen. I recall visiting this place with my colleague Simon Wang back in 2006, to meet a battery supplier.

As per River Lin from the company, Shenzhen Elite Photoelectron is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the development, production and sales of LED screens and intelligent LED lighting. It is also a professional OEM for indoor and outdoor series of single and dual primary colors, full-color display screens, illumination product covers, LED fluorescent lamps, LED ball bulbs and so on!

The supplier is ISO9001-2000 quality control system compliant as well, and claims to be popular in North America, Europe, the Middle East and other overseas markets. Its customers are distributed in various regions, the United Kingdom, the United States, Romania, Serbia, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Canada, etc.

Among the LED displays, the supplier offers a wide range: full-color display, both indoor and outdoor; single-color display – indoor, outdoor and semi-outdoor; and double color display – indoor and outdoor.

I am going to refer to one model here, the P12mm (3to1): Indoor full-color display. Some specifications include 12 mm pixel pitch, 1R1G1B configuration, 1/8 drive mode, brightness over 1200 cd/m, 32 × 16 display, 384 × 192 mm module size and average power consumption of 300-375.

There are several products one can browse at. My personal favorite is the curved LED display. After several long years of study about abnormal LED display, the supplier has succeeded in developing the 360° LED display. Wonderful!

Oh, before I end this one, here's another interesting product – from a supplier I have introduced earlier. Taiwan-based High Tech Global Group Co. Ltd. has recently introduced an LED ball bulb. These new design ball bulb lamps have been made by CREE/Nichia LED chipset with excellent aluminum lamp body. Well, take a look there, too! It's great for LED spotlights.
