1000th Laser Sold

!%Coherent Inc.%! of Santa Clara, Calif., announced that it has shipped more than 1000 of its Paladin series quasi-CW, high-power ultraviolet lasers. Available with a choice of 2, 4, 8, 10 or 16 W of output power at a wavelength of 355 nm, they are suitable for printed circuit board, semiconductor, solar cell and flat panel display applications. The company provides laser-based solutions to the commercial and scientific research markets.
