Sensor Company Announces New Website
Columbia Research Laboratories Inc. has launched a new website that provides access to technical information about its various lines of sensor products, including fiber optic sensors.
According to the company, the new site is search engine friendly, easy to navigate and includes several new features. An applications section includes examples of industrial uses for Columbia Sensors. Contact with Columbia personnel can be done using a simple form. Comments and questions can be e-mailed to the company. Finding a sales representative, domestically or internationally, can be done quickly, using the representative database.
The company’s products are accessible through a drop-down menu. A single click brings the user to a listing of any subcategories and another click takes the user to the selected individual downloadable specification sheet. Specification sheets include detailed technical information and a photo of each product. Users also are provided with the ability to search the database using criteria that applies to their particular need. The site also includes an easy-to-follow site map.
Sensors from Columbia Research Labs are used in aerospace, military and industrial applications. In addition to fiber optic sensors, the company’s product database includes force balance inertial-graded accelerometers and inclinometers, piezoelectric accelerometers, vibration/temperature transmitters, dynamic pressure sensors, strain gage aircraft mainframe fatigue sensors, precision linear variable differential transducers and assorted signal conditioning instrumentation.
