LED Lights from Shanghai K&G International

A major benefit of writing for Photonics Media is the pleasure I am deriving by being contacted by various suppliers across Asia. One such supplier is Shanghai K&G International Co., Ltd.

This firm claims to have years of experience in exports and has over 30 manufacturer partners. Annually, it exports LED light products worth over $10 million to places such as South America, Europe, Middle East markets.

I noticed an LED lamp, model KGBB3W. Specifications include input voltage 220 to 240 VAC, 3 W power, use of three LEDs to develop the lamp, which has an intensity of 220 to 240 lumens. The construction body and diffuser is of aluminum and glass. It is priced at US $5.84 FOB Shanghai.

Yet another LED lamp, model KGSJ5W, has specifications such as 220 to 240 VAC input voltage, 6 W power, and it uses five LEDs. The intensity is 360 to 400 lumens, and the beam angle is 3°. It is made of extruded aluminum. This product is priced at $6.73 FOB Shanghai.

A third product, model KG-YM-2108, has specification such as 220 to 240 VAC input voltage and 6.5 W power, It uses 108 LEDs and has an intensity of 520 lumens. It uses dip dias LED. The beam angle is 12°. It is priced at $4.52 FOB Shanghai.

While on LEDs. I have also been invited to the LEDforum 2010, a two-day event organized by LEDinside and Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute. It will be held on Nov. 1-2 at National Taiwan University Hospital International Conference Center.

The agenda for the first day features the latest LED market trends in upstream and downstream components, and the second day covers LED lighting and other important LED applications. Make sure you find your way here, in case you are interested in LEDs.
