Klastech Appoints New CEO

Klastech Laser Technologies GmbH, a diode-pumped solid-state laser technology provider, announced the appointment of Christopher J. Madin as its managing director and CEO.

Joining the company in March 2009 as chief sales officer, he has since concentrated on delivering a strong global sales funnel coupled to the development of a distinctive brand for Klastech products, said the company. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the optoelectronics industry.

In addition, Madin led the company’s entry into the US and Japanese markets, overseeing the creation of global dedicated sales distribution channels.
