Investment, Banking Firms Launch Initiative for Photonics Industry
Investment banking firm Newbury Piret & Co. Inc., and management consulting firm Ceres Technology Advisors announced they are launching an initiative to serve the photonics industry.
The firms said their initiative will help the life sciences, nanotechnology, energy, imaging, display, lighting and semiconductor markets.
“A financial pedigree and strong execution capabilities are requisites to cross the finish line with any transaction,” said Linda Smith, founder and CEO of Ceres. “Our team, however, distinctively has deep industry knowledge, hands-on operating experience, entrepreneurial instincts, and strong engineering and science backgrounds—big differentiators to effectively capture the value created by technology companies across the various stages of their business cycle.”
“This new initiative gives us the opportunity to bring high-level investment banking services to clients who might otherwise not come to the attention of the right companies or investors and to work these clients to efficiently realize their goals,” said Alan Fullerton, managing director of Newbury Piret.
