PD-LD Unveils New VBG Manufacturing Methods

PD-LD Inc., maker of Volume-Bragg Grating (VBG) technology, announce that it has been awarded three new patents pertaining to novel developments in VBG manufacturing, further cementing its role in this branch of laser stabilizing technology.

The new patents focus on three specific areas within VBG manufacturing — alteration of characteristics (Patent No. US 7,796.673), recording structures with a target wavelength (Patent No. US 7,792,003), and manufacturing of three-dimensional VBGs (Patent No. US 7,817,888).
