!%National Semiconductor Corp.%! of Santa Clara, Calif., an analog semiconductor manufacturer, has announced its collaboration with crystalline silicon solar panel producer Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. The partnership will bring the two companies together to develop “smart panel” technology by incorporating the former’s SolarMagic power optimizer chip set into the latter’s solar panels to improve the power output of solar systems.
