PRC Acquires Lee Laser
LANDING, N.J., Aug. 12 -- PRC Laser has acquired Lee Laser Inc. of Orlando, Fla. Lee Laser is the largest independent OEM supplier of lamp and diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers in the US. The company will continue to operate independently under its current president, Chong Lee.
The Lee Laser product line will help us grow our core market base and add new product technology to our existing business, which will be an important part of our long-term growth strategy and serve as a platform for future acquisitions, said Jim Rickert, PRC president. With the acquisition, Lee Laser will join Dover Corp., a $4 billion industrial group. PRC has been a part of Dover Corp. since 1996.
